The numbers we use
Calls come from 0483 949 222. Texts come from 0483 949 222 and 0420 136 955. Our office line 02 3816 2225 still answers if you ring it. A call or text from any other number claiming to be Mendy is not us.
Who runs it
Mendy is an Australian service built and run in Sydney by its founder, Alexander Lemos. ABN 15 974 187 541. Your business appears because it is publicly listed (the ABR and the state licence registers). Homeowners pay you directly; Mendy takes no lead fee and no cut.
What Mendy never asks for
- No payment and no card details, ever.
- No login or account to see a job or send a quote.
- No licence photos, ID documents or passwords by text.
- No bank details. The homeowner pays you the way you always get paid.
How a job link works
The text carries a link to a job page with the suburb, the problem in the homeowner's words, a typical price range and any photos they chose to share. You can send a quote or say no from that page in about thirty seconds, no sign-up. If the homeowner picks you, their name, address and phone number come to you by text and the booking is yours. Reply YES to any Mendy text and the link comes again.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text and you are removed from every channel, permanently. Every job page has a "Don't contact me again" button that does the same in one tap. Or call us on (02) 3816 2225 and a person will remove you. On a call, say so or press 9.
